Alex and Kim’s winter wedding day was absolutely beautiful. Kim wanted snow and she got it; in fact, she got tons of it! The snow was fluffy and fresh and still coming down when we did their photos before their ceremony. We kept the vehicles running and warm, and dashed in and out to capture some snowy photos. We had to get in the vehicles every few minutes just to keep our fingers working and Alex’s poor nose and ears a normal color. 😉 Kim makes an absolutely stunning bride, and Alex was probably the toughest (and one of the nicest) grooms I’ve ever shot. The cold didn’t phase him a bit, even though he wasn’t dressed nearly as warmly as we were!
Alex works in construction, and actually helped build the home they’ll share together, which I think is so fun! Kim is a nurse and loves her job, and I’m pretty sure all of her patients love her, too. I first met Kim at her sister Lachelle’s wedding (in totally opposite weather conditions!). It was great to see Lachelle and Ben again. They kept the vehicle warm for the bride and I and drove around to stay nice and close for us – thanks you guys! Alex’s family and friends joined us too, and were all so warm and friendly. After their photos in the park, and some quick family photos inside, they were off to their ceremony.
It was so fun to freeze with you guys – congratulations! 🙂
