Amber and Daniel came from Calgary to be married in the Cardston LDS Temple. With the distance between us, the first time we met was on their wedding day. We started shooting and it was like we were longtime friends! They were so awesome to work with, and so were their families! So many laughs and hugs and fun moments on their big day.

These two lovebirds were married in the Cardston LDS Temple, and following their ceremony their friends and family gathered in the courtyard to welcome them as they made their grand entrance as newlyweds! We took their family photos in front of the temple, and then it was just the three of us to take photos on the temple grounds. We had planned to head to a second location, and I just got the feeling that we needed some serious nature – these two love the outdoors, and hiking (Daniel), so when I brought up the idea of heading to Waterton, it took them one second to agree to the idea! Or maybe I hadn’t even finished talking… 😉 I am SO glad we did! We had the time and you just can’t beat those mountain views. This summer has been the calmest summer I remember for shooting there.
