I first met Deanna sitting at a table in Starbucks. She was running just a little behind, rushing from one of her many jobs. After talking to her for about two minutes, I knew I wanted to shoot her wedding! This girl is amazing. I am in awe at how  much energy she has and how much she fits into her life! She helps care for a little girl with disabilities, works at a care centre, builds cabinets as her main job, and builds furniture, you know, just a queen size bed and a table for example, on the side. Oh, and she takes photos of people, and helps with hair at weddings. And she still makes time for her family and friends and her fiancé (now husband) Henk! I felt a little dizzy talking to her, but I loved hearing about it all. It was so fun to meet her and even more fun to see her with the love of her life on her wedding day. I love getting to know my brides and I love watching them get to experience their wedding day!

Henk and Deanna were married in Picture Butte. After the ceremony, we headed up the road to the Tractor Museum for photos. I hadn’t been in awhile and was excited to shoot there! Lots of old buildings and cute vintage cars – so fun! These two were so laid-back and so happy to be married. Thanks Henk and Deanna – congratulations!! 🙂
