Brand Photography for Realtors featuring Julie Jenkins of Brooks, AB
When it comes to brand photography for realtors and other brands, variety in your photos isn’t just nice to have—it’s essential! You can only post the same outfit so many times in a row and then you get sick of looking at it and your feed all looks the same.
Your photos should work hard for you across all platforms, telling the story of who you are, what you do, and the heart behind your business. That’s exactly what we did in a recent real estate branding photography session with Julie Jenkins, a local realtor from Brooks, Alberta. Julie wanted a gallery full of images that reflected her personality, professionalism, and community roots. She also wanted to create enough content to last her for about a year. Here’s how we made that happen:
We didn’t stick to one backdrop. Instead, we planned for several that would show off different aspects of Julie’s life and business. From an amazing private residence (thank you Jac!!) to a downtown street and even a cozy coffee shop, each location added a new layer to her brand story. We also visited places that matter personally to her—like the hockey rink and baseball diamond where she sponsors local teams (and cheers on her own kids!). The stubble field with a vintage chair gave her photos a down-to-earth, rural touch, while the community building steps and medical aesthetics office lobby added a clean, professional look.
Julie nailed the outfit planning. And of course rocked her heels with every outfit! This woman can do anything in heels. We mixed business and casual outfits: dresses, jeans with blazers, and tops that added pops of color and texture. Each change gave us a new feel without straying from her brand. Whether she looked polished for client meetings or casual and approachable for a more down-to earth feel, every outfit went with her brand and added variety – variety is key in any realtor branding photo inspiration session.
Props are the cherry on top! A laptop and business cards in the café, a hockey at the rink, and that vintage chair in the field—all helped Julie feel natural (things to hold help you feel less awkward, right?) and created visual interest. We wrapped up her session with a confetti throw (yes, really!). Because let’s be honest—everyone needs a celebration photo ready for that next big announcement or Instagram win.
With thoughtful planning and a little creativity, your realtor photo brand session can give you just as much variety ( and be just as much fun!). Just like Julie, you deserve photos that show the full story of you. Ready to plan yours? Let’s chat.
