Action Cures Fear.

Action Cures Fear.

I’m still learning this! I made plans for a big exciting project months ago that I’ve been thinking about for awhile. I broke it down and created a list of action items and a timeline. And then I did almost nothing about it.

Oh I had good excuses, like, “Hey it’s a pandemic.” And, “I have four kids, and they’re all home all the time.” And, “I’m busy.”  (see: four kids) All of my excuses were actually legitimate excuses in this crazy year we’re having. But really? Down deep? I was scared.

We make time for the things that matter to us. Everyone has the same amount of time in the day. And we get the things done that we value the most. I firmly believe that if something is important enough, you find or make the time to make it happen. You don’t let obstacles stand in your way. I was choosing comfort over what I really wanted to do. But it hung over me! So I wasn’t actually that comfortable, anyway.

A few weeks ago I finally started taking action on the big scary thing. And it’s taken such a load off to just start! There are still unknowns, but I started. And I feel so much better making progress! I’m excited to keep going, to tweak this and add that. It’s actually fun! 🤷‍♀️

Action cures (or at least decreases!) fear.

In case you needed a push. 😉  Just start.

Oh, and the big scary thing? It’s a course. A course to teach small business owners how to take their own awesome product photos on their phones so that they aren’t held back by not having good photos to post. A course to help them build their brand and grow their business by giving them the skills to show it off consistently on social media!

Does this sound like something that would benefit you?
